Photography
Photography is to me the best way to practice sharpening that eye for composition that I strongly feel everyone needs to have at least just a bit in this field; practicing composition on the day to day is an entertaining exercise I try to do often.
While trying to learn more principles of design, I fell in love with creating visuals for commertial or editorial use.
Software I (wrongly) wasn´t using as much for animation ended up being a huge passion for me, and definetely a skill that I consider that shoudn´t be left aside.

And... who are you?
My name is Cristina Luna, I´m an Animation student at Monterrey Center for Higher Learning of Design - CEDIM, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

I enjoy every aspect of 2D animation and design, but my four special passions are motion design, illustration, photography and editorial & commertial graphics, with a special liking for the commercial side of each one.
​
Putting an extra effort in my work in any part of it related to it's dynamism, fluidity, composition, and specially, its reason, it's like a must for me.
​
Also, I believe that design transcends any other form of communication, to me, as much as something needs to tell a story, it needs to have a purpouse.
​
Here at CEDIM, the work I've participated in, and also the work I've done individually has been recognized and nominated in local, and even international festivals and exhibitions.
